February 1, 2012 - Floyd Mayweather will fight Miguel Cotto at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on May 5, 2012, after the Nevada State Athletic Commission today voted unanimously to grant him a one-fight license for the May 5 fight. The license is conditional upon Mayweather meeting the counseling and community service requirements of his plea deal. A status review is scheduled for March 15.

League President Annie Duke says it's their intention to "finish Season One of the Epic Poker League as planned and to move forward with all of our key initiatives – including the Global Poker Index, epicpoker.com, the Epic Poker social media game on Facebook, and the Heartland Poker Tour" which will most likely be achieved "by entering into an agreement with another company."
